The Stoptech Sport pads (previously called Street Performace) are an exceptional choice for daily driven high performance vehicles. They offer great cold bite, low noise, and a high coefficient of friction that stays consistant all the way to the maximum operating temperature of 1300F. This makes them suitable for track use on lighter and low powered cars, and sometimes acceptable for light track use on heavier cars using street tires (although a dedicated track pad is recommended). Stoptech pads combine the benefits of premium street brake pads with aggressive frition formulas suitable for track day and autocross use to meet the demands of high performance driving while maintaining the refinement and comfort expected in everyday driving conditions. For a more street friendly option consider the newer Stoptech 308 series pad.

Brake pad fitment info:
Between 02-04, there may have been some mid-year changes for the WRX pads. However, in our experience, nearly all 02s have the D721/770 combo and all 03s have 929/1004. If you have an 02, 03, or 04 WRX, or have swapped to larger "H6" rotors on an 03-05, it is best to physically check the brake pads and compare them to the pictures in this article. The front/rear pad shapes included with each option are listed below:
15+ CVT w/ eyesight: D1078/D1808
04-17 STI: D1001/D961
18+ STI: D1365/rear pads not yet available from stoptech/centric
Generally, these year ranges also correlate to the non-turbo Impreza and other models such as the Forester, Legacy, OB. If you are unsure which pad shapes you need please contact us before ordering.
Included is a complete set of Stoptech Sport, compound 309, front and rear brake pads.
